PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT.
We understand this is a lot of information, but every detail is crucial for providing you with the best possible service for your permanent makeup including but not limited to:
Any permanent eyebrow procedure
Any permanent lash line or permanent eyeliner procedure
Any permanent lip colour
1. Do You Have Previous Permanent Makeup?
If you’ve had permanent makeup done at another studio, or if it’s been more than 2 years since your last procedure with Beauty By Yael, you must send us a photo of your existing permanent cosmetic makeup for approval before booking.
If you do not inform us or get approval, your appointment may be cancelled, and you’ll incur a 25% charge. This applies to all services.

2. Contact Us Before Booking If:
You must contact us before booking a permanent makeup procedure if any of the following apply to you:
You have skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, acne, dermatitis, or rosacea near the treatment area.
You have a scar near your eyebrows, eyes, or lips.
You are currently / recently taken taking antibiotics.
You are currently / recently taken steroids.
You are prone to keloid scars.
You are breastfeeding.
You are experiencing hair loss, alopecia, or thyroid problems.
3. When We Cannot Perform the Procedure:
For your safety, we cannot proceed with procedures if:
You are pregnant or less than 6 months postpartum.
You’ve had chemotherapy in the past 6 months.
You’ve taken Accutane in the last 12 months.
You’re currently using strong retinoid creams (discontinue use 2 weeks prior).
You have had a recent vaccination or immunization, or will be receiving one within 2 weeks.
You have lash extensions if you’re booking permanent eyeliner or lashline enhancement services.
You have used growth serum on the treatment area within the past 4 weeks.
4. Doctor’s Note Required
You’ll need a doctor’s note to proceed with any permanent makeup service if you:
Are on blood thinners.
Have diabetes.
Have a heart condition.
Have epilepsy or other seizure-related conditions.
Have cancer or are undergoing treatment.
You have a controlled or uncontrolled autoimmune disease.
5. Cancellation Policy:
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy that is FIRM & NON-NEGOTIABLE. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment your booking fee will be forfeit.
If you’re late/no-show, you will be charged $100 at your next appointment.
