Microblading
Powder brows
& nano brows
Aftercare
Follow these instructions for nano brow aftercare, powder brow aftercare, and microblading aftercare. Depending on your procedure (microblading, nano brows, powder brows) and your skin type, the healing period can last around 4-6 weeks.
Rule #1: Do not touch or scratch your eyebrows or pick at the scabs!
Do not get your eyebrows wet while they’re healing. Avoid long, hot showers and do not let water touch your eyebrows. No swimming or saunas.
Do not apply makeup or any cosmetics to the eyebrow or anywhere near the eyebrow area.
Do not receive any other facial treatments until your powder brows, nano brows or microblading is completely healed.
Avoid going in the sun until your eyebrows are completely healed.
Avoid sweating, working out, or any exercise that will cause you to sweat until your brows are completely healed.
Avoid sleeping on your face or eyebrow area. Ensure your pillowcases are fresh and clean during your eyebrow healing process.
Protect your eyebrows from any dirt or dust.
Day 1: Wipe the eyebrows once with a clean cotton pad that has been dampened with sterile water.
Day 2: Wipe the eyebrows 3 times: morning midday evening.
Days 3-5: Leave brows alone, allow them to dry up (during that time no makeup, creams or water on or around the brow).
Day 6: Start balm, 1 x per day. Apply a thin layer in the morning until all scabs are off.
What to Expect/ What is normal:
Days 1-5: Brows will appear darker and thicker. Scabbing forms over the strokes to protect the area while healing.
Days 5-9: As the scabs start coming off, they may appear patchy (be patient, it’s just a few days, the balm will help with the flaking and itching).
Day 9-12: The pigment under may look light or milky due to a thin layer of scar tissue. This is completely normal.
Days 12-21: The pigment will “come back” once the thin layer of scar tissue heals. The brows will appear darker.
